Martha auditioned in London. She sang "I Have Nothing" by Whitney Houston. All four judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Martha was shown in a group with Kat Harper and Katrina Melody and in the final part singing "Wild Horses" by Natasha Bedingfield. She managed to secure herself a spot in the Top 22.
